A Basic Ship Tool Kit List
Every boat should have a basic mechanic's tool kit. We recommend that the kit should include the following items:

While these are the just the fundamentals of a kit, don’t forget to add anything that is specific to your type of boat. IE if you have a sailboat add whipping twine, needles and sail tape. The key is to know your boat and anticipate what you might need in case of an emergency or breakdown.
