Stern drives should be removed and inspected every 2 years. When the drive is removed the following components are inspected and replaced if required:
- Engine Alignment
- Coupler Splines
- Universal Joint Bellows
- Universal Joints
- Shift Cable Bellows
- Gimbal Bearing
- Yoke Seal for Oil Leak
